i need more bands with female members

im so tired of trying to find some new good music made by women cause my spotify is so full of generic men bands and i wanna change that but i dont find anything that i really enjoy.

and i really hate when the bands name is something that leads you to think theres some female protagonism but no. just the same 4 men. it already happened twice to me and it pisses me off so much. "Oh, violent femmes is a good name, let me check this band... No violence... No femmes..." or "TV Girl? They have some cool songs and it's great that they have parts sang by women in them, let me see... Why are they called TV Girl and theres no girls in the band"

They really should stop this, i don't wanna hear abt the "Female band name" and then look into them and its a bunch of men of which at least one of them is probably a misogynist to some degree.

The only female bands I kind of enjoy is some more famous ones, cause i cant find any other ones. The basics yk: Paramore, Jack Off Jill, Dazey and the scouts, mommy long legs, picture me broken, le tigre, the birthday massacre and maybe other bands i forgot to list.

"what abt Hole?" not my style. "msi" dont piss me off. "siouxie and the banshees" im not really into goth but i like a few songs. "Kittie" i tried that once and its okay.

I know what youre gonna say, i checked riot grrrl and the music really is good, there was a moment in my life where i dedicated myself to only listening to riot grrrl but the scene today is just full of terfs and i dont fuck with that, thats why the only riot grrrl band i commited to was dazey and the scouts.

i need bands. give me bands.
