I'm getting over being sick... and possibly into a new hobby!

The past few days have been a blur of trying to manage symptom after symptom of going without my meds, but I finally got back on my anti-depressants and I'm slowly stabilizing. I won't rant about all the symptoms I was having. Thinking about bad things still makes me feel like I'm getting sick because part of it was unmanaged anxiety. I've had to step back from a lot of things and might continue to do so. It's needed for my health and sanity.

Yesterday though, I found a really nice and sweet kigurumi creator who goes by Y-chan! I started watching her shorts after they got reccomended to me and I was lucky because she streamed later that day so I decided to hop in her chat and now I have a whole new community and subculture I'm getting into!

For the uninitiated, "Kigurumi" is basically a full body costume. It can be either: a comfy onsie set of pajama's or in this case a full skinsuit with an anime head to turn you into a real life anime character! Most kigurumi (of the second variety) are anime girls but luckily I've been able to find a few resources for more masculine or androgynous cosplay. I haven't posted about this before on my blog but I actually have cosplays of both Kaworu Nagisa and Nagito Komaeda. I wanted to get into the content niche a while ago where drag meets cosplay and alternative fashion but between my finances being non-existent, the state of the world and my health I just haven't. Hell, I'm so busy trying to just EXIST and be a good fucking person (save animals, punch nazi's etc.) that I go WEEKS without any voice training! I'm a 26 year old trans guy who sounds like a fucking teenage girl... So when I realized I could just say "fuck this shit I'm an anime boy now with a new face and a new voice" you bet your sweet ass I was fucking on board with that shit.

If you wanna know what it was like when I was sick just imagine being nauseas, oscillating between hot and cold so much you have moments where you just give up on wearing clothes like a "normal" person (whatever that is) and try to block out the voices telling you that everything you have ever consumed is poison with this because YouTube reccomended is forever perpetually cursed with the vocaloid hyperfixation you had at 10:

The moral of today's blog is that I struggle to manage my impulses and I need to take better care of myself to be a more stable adult 💖✨
