Study Habits
Relatively took more active notes in chem -> was good. Kept lecture more engaging bc otherwise I wouldve fallen asleep and died. I think reviewing a bit before each lecture would help a lot though because I’d walk into lecture, get confused, and later review to realize it wasn’t anything crazy
Definitely crammed way too much, especially for math and lithum 2nd. Thank god lithum was light but honestly don’t want to cram for lithum ever again. Its supposed to be a fun class and I really want to give the literature some time to marinate within me.
I was a bit lazy with it and I didn’t take the biggest advantage of it but writing down topics or problems that I specifically don’t understand so that I can come back to it more easily. The idea is good, the problem was that I barely took time to come back to them LOL
I got stuff under control now and then but seriously plan ahead and do work early.

Content Absorption Techniques
Textbook - always good!
Doing a bunch of practice problems - always good!
Study guides - mainly for lithum, was helpful. Couldve used it for chem ig. For chem I just rewrote notes in my own words….-> rewriting things in my own words and trying to make it funny and sorta stupid was very helpful
Giant todo list - not rlly for studying but for getting assignments in. was very helpful!
Study groups - best accountability strat ever...though I do want to become more independent. But I really should ask my friends to study together more often

Technology/Apps used
NotebookLM - Was extremely good for LitHum
Notion - Just a generally nice sandbox organizer so…i mean it has been very helpful since forever
YPT - very very motivating and good tool for accountability. I should set study amount goals and keep up w it on YPT

Thoughts for carrying out next semester:
Write blogs about reflections for Lithum -> think this study tactic is very compatible with the nature of lithum
Review a bit for each class at least a bit every week…someone said make a study guide after each week and that lowk sounds a lot but it does sound like a good idea. At the very least, reviewing somewhat for each week will help a lot. And keeping everything for a subject on a single google doc so its easier to navigate! I really liked how I made my lithum study guide. It was easy to navigate and review through
Do at least a little bit of work every day . I realize how important it is to keep a steady momentum to feel sane. Genuinely ik it is always always hard for literally anything to keep a steady momentum!!! literally I go back and forth between journaling every single day about every miniscule thing to literally not writing anything for a month. But either way I need to remind myself to do work bit by bit everyday.
GO TO CLASS
MAKE FRIENDS IN EVERY CLASS. KEEP CONTACT W THEM.
SLEEP AND EAT WELL AND GET SOME EXERCISE NOW AND THEN
GO!!!!!!!TO!!!!!!!!!OFFICE HOURS!!!!!!GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!!!!!!11!!!1!1!!!@@@@@GO TO OFFICE HOURS GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PUT MORE EFFORT INTO BUILIDNG RELATIONSHIPS WITH PROFESSORS AAAAHHGGHHj
In summary it really just comes down to being proactive and trying to be more consistent with things
i need to work a lot on self-restraint and yeah. at the very least I need to make sure im consistently actively thinking about all of this through journaling. I really want to make sure journaling becomes a core core core core habit within me on the same level as brushing your teeth every day. I need to freaking journal everyday bruh i need to journal and make sure I am thinking more actively
