Online school

Today was my first day at my new online school. One could only assume they’d be taking the same classes they took at their previous school, right? WRONG. I am in all regular classes even though I was previously taking advanced classes, and on the online school’s website it specifically states that ap and honors classes are offered. Naturally I email my counselor only for her to say that ap and honors classes are not offered nor is dual enrollment, so I get angry because??? The school page said that ap and honors courses are offered but now they aren’t? 

Anyway, is self studying ap physics 1 hard? Since I plan on going into a stem heavy major(astrophysics) I’m a bit stressed out now
