Am I the asshole? (3/1/26)

So yesterday me, my mum, my dad and nephew went out shopping and we went to aldi because we just go there sometimes, my mum had seen one of those like... towls with a hood? like for at the beach and she asked my nephew if she wanted it... 

First off i saw it and could tell it was that cheap towl thingy, and what i mean that is would feel horrible against your skin and would probably leave a rash with how harsh it felt and looked.

I asked him if he really needed and he said no not really and i could tell from his expression that he didn't really like it, my mum took it anyway and we went into the next aisle (We didn't say anything because shes kinda scary...) 

In the other aisle she asked if I wanted to have some food that i don't know how to describe but we eat it and its so nice :> 

anyway she commented on some deodorant that I had and asked if it was for my brother which I replied with " no because my one is almost finished" and she told me that I should wait until it is done and then get a new one and then told me to go put it back... so I did.

When I came back she asked why I actually put it back and that if i don't go get it she won't get the nice food but i told her that I put it back because she told me to and she got so angry and she slamed the food back into the freezer and chucked the towl hood thingy on top of the freezer (its one of those ones that are one the floor and you get the food from inside of it) 

and me and my nephew were just standing there... because what the fuck???

and when I put the towl back and went to the front where we could both see that she was pissed off and yeah...

I just wanna know if I'm in the wrong because I feel like I'm not. and also I kinda just wanted to rant about it...
