Astrophysics

As a junior who is planning to major in astrophysics what are some good extracurriculars? I did an independent research project and is hoping to publish it, but what are some more things I should do? There isn’t a lot of astronomy related stuff near me so that’s a limiting factor but advice if much appreciated

This is just a suggestion; however, if you look over at Nasa.gov, they have activities and opportunities in which one can apply, and you could perhaps involve yourself, so that you can maybe state that you were involved. As well as definitely applying for AP Calc and or AP Physics. I'm unsure of whether or not you have it at your school, but in my case, there is an Astronomy class which a student can apply for as an elective, of cource it may not be the same for all schools, and you would have mentioned it if you did XP.
OH! You could take Coursera courses, which are online, and there should be a variety of different classes you could take. I'm sure it counts for credit of not more than, since these courses are created by real universities and colleges.
I hope this helps in any way, and I'm so fascinated to hear that someone is interested in AstroPhysics. I personally love Astronomy, though, as an amateur, I wish you luck on your journey :)

Thank you for the advice! I am currently taking ap physics 1 and was planning to take summer courses at my local university to get ahead my senior year. I saw that nasa has citizen science projects so I will take a look at those!
