drawing tablet suggestions

Anybody have any recommendations for drawing tablets or even programs? Right now I just use ibis on a slow Samsung tablet with a drawing pen I bought somewhere for like $15, and I’ve always been curious as to how much I could improve with an actual drawing tablet 

I’m not really all that skilled of a drawer anyway but I’ve been down in the dumps lately and so far haven’t found any motivation to draw and have just been staring at my tablet on the floor for days because any time I start anything I just get frustrated and quit. I can’t really draw anything except a 3/4 facing bust of a person (surprisingly, after having been doing this for a decade), I don’t really know how to color or do backgrounds or anything and even I know after so long that you sort of just have to keep doing it until you get somewhere even if you’re frustrated, but I just get depressed 😭 

so I thought maybe spending some money on something new might be the right motivator and I can finally see my OCs faces again, but everything is expensive and I’m scared to make the wrong choice so I would love some suggestions
