Our Oporto Trip - Photo Dump

Last September, i had the chance and the time to visit my family in the North of Portugal. I also had the oportunity to invite one good friend of mine, Maria, which was an offer she could not refuse. And off we went.

This was even before we left my hometown, Ovar. The train station there is old and over its glory days. We actually have to cross the tracks to get to the other side, which is awesome.

We got into a train to Porto-São Bento. The trains are really modern, and that is not the case in Lisbon (Oporto is a better city in every way). We took photos, saw the views of the countryside, and talked about whatever girls talk about.

This photo was taken when we arrived to Oporto. It was a feeling i missed dearly. I haven't been there since 2022, so it felt really good seing this station once again. Being with Maria made me feel even better, and the moment we got off the train, we we're already having a good time.

This is Aliados. I had to take a photo of the subway station because im lowkey obsessed with them. After i took this photo, i asked Maria if we could go inside just so i could see what its like.

This is the Igreja dos Clérigos. We didn't get in, but we still went up the stairs.

Andddd... I took a photo there :)

This is more upcity. We spotted a window with some labubus, and i decided to take a photo there. Probably some randos house.

This was at the Miradouro da Vitória. We went up the whole goddamn city, but, in the end, it was worth it. We had the most beautiful view of the entire Douro River and Vila Nova de Gaia. It was basically empty, and we enjoyed it a lot!

Andddd... once again, i took a photograph.

This was us with our subway tickets! God, i remember being SO excited! Besides getting to enjoy a vacation with Maria, i think using the subway was like, the third best moment of the day! We got a view of the whole Douro River.

This was after we crossed the Luis I Bridge with the Subway. Here, we met a very cool Turkish girl. Of course, i took some photos.

Just one more photo

This was when we were trying to figure out how to cross to the other side. We were tired, so we decided to see the view and take some photos.

A strange photo.

I like this photo SO much!

Luis I Bridge!

This was by the end of the day. We were going back to the train station to go home, and we saw a photobooth. How cute do we look?!

Like all trips, this one was filled with expectations and wishes. I still wanted to go to the Dragão Soccer Stadion and to the João Félix Fan Café, but we didn't have time to. However, the enjoyment i had to be able to have this trip with Maria was something that made me very happy, and im glad we had the the chance to do this together! I love you!
