A plea to fellow minors of SpaceHey

Today I came across a blog from someone about how he doesn’t want minors adding him. I suggested that he add a note to his profile so that we know not to add him. Then another commenter told me that he still gets friend requests from minors despite it being on his own profile that he doesn’t want it. He said that other adults have had the same experience.

I believe in the right of adults and minors to be friends IF IT’S WHAT THEY BOTH WANT. However, if someone puts on their profile no minors they are setting a personal boundary which we should respect. This is one of the reasons why some adults don’t want us on here and it’s just helping them to make their case. So come on fellow kids if someone says no friend requests from minors just don’t add them. Show that we can behave respectfully and strengthen the case for our right to be on here.
