It's kind of a vent, kind of to save my ass just in case. I do not support any form of pedophillia even if fictional. I just was told more by a friend what darkshipping is. The way I interpreted it by how others talked about it online, I thought violent kinks like bdsm, gore, and blood (with adults) kinks that often fall into horror or dead dove was darkship. I fall under liking violent and gruesome content, so I am not a darkshipper.
I do however find the shipping debacle stupid in a server that doesn't allow conversations about that sort of thing in the rules anyways. I have no problems with curating a safe space but I still think its very dumb for me personally. One of the rules was even not to talk about gore or nsfw so I don't see an issue. That was problem for me too, I simply am not involved with this fandom drama, I did my best to internet search what darkshipping and how it was diffrent to proshipping, and I thought it was BDSM. That was my fault. I don't talk to people about gorey stuff too much with others out of respect too. So yeah, even if I was inactive I'm a bit sour about that. I have to pin this just in case.
This honestly feels terrible for me too even if I'm open to talking about this stuff, this time it feels like i"m outing myself for something that is ok but still deviant. (bdsm and gore) I didn't have to but like, fuck man. It just bugs me. Anyways, thanks for reading

we kicked you because you used being old as an excuse for claiming to be neutral abt proshipping. Also googling proship literally brings up illegal age gaps and incest, nowhere does it mention or imply BDSM. You were being ignorant and thats why you got kicked from the server.
I was thinking about the discourse itself. To me, its such a terminally online thing and it's not something that was allowed to be talk about on that server in the first place so I didn't get it. Also, I searched darkship and all I got was "its abuse." Again, I thought you guys were think darkship = bdsm and gore stuff. I did not search proship because I didn't think they were the same thing. I don't think you read my post. When I searched bdsm, it kept saying it was diffrent from proship. I used duckduckgo as my search engine. I don't know what to tell you.

And of course I was being ignorant, I don't know shit about darkship proship whatever and it was never explained to me and when I searched darkship up, it kept saying it was diffrent from proship which I know is bad, I know proship means pro-pedo and that's bad. So what the fuck am I supposed to do when I search darkship to see what its all about and I just see unhelpful fanlore wiki shit, old tumblr posts conflating violent content and horror content with darkship? Of course I'm ignorant and I was never given a response or chance and that's fine. Tad pissed about that but I understand you want those predatory people away from your server. It's either their with you or against you. Its better having a misfire then that accidently letting a pedophile or pedophile apologist in that server with minors in it. I just needed to vent my side of the story. Your just doing your job, it's alright.

i did read your blog, like several times. i just use darkship and proship interchangeably because they equate to the same thing, which is a support for pedofillia and incest. also i personally don't understand how you thought WE thought darkship meant bdsm and gore. fish worded the rules and made announcements making it very clear what we meant. also the reason we have rules against proshipping is because those people typically try to disregard other rules like ex. no sexual topics. so if we let proshippers sneak their way in it causes problems. thats the point.
there's really no need to make this big blog post when all your doing is getting on your soapbox and crying for pity. you got kicked from a discord server. big deal. grow up and move on.

I don't know whats got you in a tizzy over a vent post either. I made it 5 days ago and pinned it after finding out that dark and proship were the same thing. I was pretty pissed at the time cause I hate having misunderstandings and being misunderstood. I don't know either because I hardly remember anymore.
I made the blog post because I want to clear up that I'm not a pedophile or pedo supporter because I know how bad I look. That's honestly it. We're all human at the end of the day. Crying for pity isn't always done to be malicious either. There was no need but I did it anyways. That's all there is to it.
