i miss emos

everyday I mourn the fact i was born in the 2000s and not the 90s, what do you mean I’m an adult in 2025 partaking in alternative, emo and Ouji fashion, while living in the south where a total of 3 other people partake in alternative subculture when I could have been a teenager when emo was thriving 😔  

not to be depressing but growing up with nobody my age interested in the same fashion, music etc that I was made for a pretty lonely childhood, and now im 21 in the era with the rise of ai and conservatism, with nearly nobody my age interested in separating themselves from every other person

the children yearn for fashion creativity and individuality 

it’s 12 am and I can’t sleep
