Hanging out in town - 29/12/2021

We sat in the park under OUR tree for a while and shared sweets and Robin made us some gingerbread ^^ We wandered down to the bowl but didn't really do much there, then circled back round down to the play area, which had bits added to it. We investigated one of the swings that had been changed, it was weird, it had a baby swing seat attached to one end and had a more normal seat attached to the other?? I didn't like it but Soraya vibed on it for a while. A trampoline had also been added, as well as one of those spinning seesaws and this thing we referred to as the "battering ram". 

I was sat in the middle of the normal seesaw and Ali was sat on one of the ends bouncing us up and down, then this kid, who had acne worse than mine :<, came up to me and I thought he was going to start bullying me, but he didn't! He was actually okay, he asked me if I wanted to help slam the battering ram into his friend, to which I declined and told him "I'm a bean pole, except I'm short, I'm a lanky thing" XD He said he was lanky too. Him and his friend were I think about 13, I'm terrible at judging ages but this is what my friends assumed. Ali then proceeded to climb up the clibing frame which was slippery because it had been raining in the morning, and they got stuck several times, we all just were acting like we were on something XD we weren't but it seemed like we might've, our group just has chaotic energy lol 

When they were finished with the battering ram, my friends and I had a look at it and Bin (Robin) and Ali swung on it as Soraya and I stood by and watched. Soraya put her knee on the spinning seesaw and I sat on the other end, then she moved off so Ali could sit on the other end to try and balance us out, but that didn't work either, I was too light XD But Ali and Robin balanced each other out lol They spun round and the seesaw needed oiling or something because it creaked like crazy! The kid that talked to us earlier asked us "What are you doing to it?!" and we all laughed, this seesaw was new! It shouldn't have been creaking like that! 

As we were leaving the play area, one of the little kids (4 or 5?), that was playing on the climbing frame, told his little brother to kill himself, so his brother said "Okay!" and jumped off the top of the climbing frame O_o We walked about in the skate park for a bit then went to the new pudding shop that had opened up in town! 

It had a bright pink front and it was super cute inside! Our moods calmed down from crackheads to sophisticated young adults XD Soraya had a black forest cake/ coffee cake (idk what it was) and she said it was really nice! Robin and I had bubble waffles that came with fresh cream, fruits and these delicious wafer sticks that were filled with a sweet thing (we didn't know what it was but it tasted nice). I let Ali and Soraya try a piece of the bubble waffles and they liked it! Robin liked his as well! I told them about how I told Deanna about bubble waffles and about how she thought it was weird, to which all of my friends agreed that Deanna's opinion is invalid and we don't care about her or what she has to say. Soraya had to lend me a fiver so I could pay for my bubble waffle because the shop didn't take card :/ which was an annoyance, and I didn't have enough coins to make up a fiver. I'll pay her the day after ^^

Nothing much happened after that, only that Soraya had a hot flush or something as we were heading home, but she feels okay now, I messaged her. We're not sure what happened, it might be because she hadn't had a drink or a coffee for a while and we had been walking around for a while. She had to get her dad to come and pick her up in the car. But she's okay now
