If I were in The Magnus Archives

Well, if we're being realistic, if I were in The Magnus Archives, I'd probably die. But! If I carry my main character complex with me for just a moment, I think I would serve The Slaughter. I hate gore, I hate violence, my interest in it comes solely from the study of it and my ability to help. Do no harm (or do the least amount of harm) is what I live by. Being made to kill against my will, to grievously injure to the point where I cannot help? That is horrifying. My fear would follow and follow and follow and the power could feed on me infinitely.
