Tongue and teeth are laced together, spouting words of sweet violence. Something so bitter, yet the after-taste on your tongue leaves you craving more. The sour contrast to the sun-kissed words singing in your ears. Those who strive for power will receive, but refuse to give in for pursuit of domination. The words they do return sting like a cut, scabbing and healing until they leave a shiny sliver of skin. An ugly reminder of a bulbous scar shining in the sunlight. The fact that it shines in the sun does not hide its story.
