people are odd

Hey, so I recently found out that americans have something called the Angel Tree Program which is where you can receive a list written to santa by a kid who wouldn't be able to get gifts for christmas and then you buy them stuff off the list which is then given to them and told it's from Santa, which sounds so cool and nice.

and apparently there are folks who have a problem with this????????????????

like, I'm a shopaholic and I love the toy sections and kids clothing sections of stores, so if I could go shopping and it would also benefit a child who might not have received anything at all I would be ecstatic to do so!

Like, the idea of having an issue with pampering a child who doesn't receive much pampering is wild to me.
