i'm eleleth! 🜎

some people call me eleanor or ele, but i don't have any preference.

i'm seventeen. i like experimental art, historial fashion, religious literature/occultism, esotericism, transhumanism, old internet/technology, and philosophy. 

my favorite interests right now are gnosticism, the cybernetic culture research unit (ccru), thee temple ov psychick youth, worlds.com, the palace chatrooms, fear and hunger, "Gadget: Invention, Travel, & Adventure," smarterchild, and sadie plant's cyberfeminism.

i have a collection of old technology, such as an 80s compaq computer, several CRTs (mostly with built-in VCRs in them), a radio, a flip phone, and four analogue cameras, one dating all the way back to the 1920s (a Kodak brownie camera.)

i adore technology and its history! cyberfeminism is a large fascination of mine, largely due to the history between women and machines. ada lovelace and sadie plant have my whole heart. <3 <3 <3

i have four pet beetles who i adore and cherish greatly. two of which are blue death feigning beetles, while the other two are rough / smooth black death feigning beetles respectively. pictures below are taken by me of my four critter babies:

1. Noumena - she's named after both the Kantian term Noumenon, as well as Nick Land's "Fanged Noumena." she's actually the only one i know for a fact is female.
2. Enoch - he's named after Enochian magick as well as the biblical character Enoch. i got an Enochian prayermat just for him! he's a very sleepy boy, especially as it gets colder outside. 
3. Crowley - he's named after Aleister Crowley, the founder of thelema. he's by far the most active critter! he loves to take chunks of food and drag it across the enclosure and messing with his tankmates.
4. b75e2c83-0000--602f00000000}\Test¬{ß2x89.ö√±√†b.txt?\Volume} - his name was accidentally decided when i pasted a command path while brainstorming names and thought it was just too fitting for the one who looks like a little robot! i call him b75 for short.
