honestly im not really sure if architecture is for me???? YK instead of taking architecture related classes like carpentry or industrial arts, my mom is making me take tourism LOLL
well honestly, i dont really care about switching out of architecture because yeah, the Philippines really does NOT care for architects at all, only relying more on engineers and stuff

my friend from the philippines told me his dad was an architect and how its really hard to find projects and that they had to go months without any pay. being an architect is lowkey a gamble most of the time :/ also crazy that you mention being a flight attendent because thats my dream job in the future (but only as a short term career). if you want higher jobs in tourism, i'd suggest looking into tourism management in school because they set you up to higher roles like managers or directors. you'd do most of the back end stuff and you dont have to say "hello. welcome to ___" lol

the gamble with finding clients in archi is mainly why my mom didn't wanna have me pursuing it, it's really hard finding clients unless ur from a LOONNNGGG lineage of renowned architects already
