I awoke around 3AM. The light was on,which is what woke me, and there was two men in my room who I had never seen before. One of the two men addressed me by name and told me that I had to go with them. I told them that I wasn’t going anywhere with them. They told,”You can either come with us the easy way or the hard way but you are coming with us “.
As they approached me I punched one of them on the nose as hard as I could causing his nose to bleed. They then overpowered me and physically carried me out of the house to their car. They threw me roughly into the back of the car (and it was unmistakably a deliberate and gratuitous roughness).
For quite some time they never spoke and I had no idea where they were taking me or what they were going to do to me when they got me there. I was terrified and literally in fear for my life.
Eventually the driver broke the silence. He told me that they were transporters hired by my dad to take me to a wilderness program and that I could “look forward to weeks of hell”. They told me that we were nearing the airport and I had a choice. If I was prepared to behave myself it would be a quick flight but otherwise it’s a long drive. Wishing to inconvenience them I told them I would make sure I behave badly and draw attention to them. Also, I was in no hurry to get there so I was choosing the long drive. It proved to be a very long drive.
I have since learned that the transporters are actually paid more if they are put to the trouble of a long drive. Unfortunately I didn’t know that at the time. Otherwise I would have pretended to be willing to behave myself and then made sure I behaved badly for the entire flight.
My next blog in this series will describe my arrival at the wilderness program and how it was horrible and abusive quite literally from as soon as I arrived.

Sounds straight up horrible. Your dad seems very very toxic .. i'm so sorry that you had to suffer from all this :(( I can only imagine how awful it was for your mother to wake up that morning to realize that you were gone
Thanks. The thing that led to me and my mom leaving my dad was that he was planning to send me to another program. This time it was going to be a two year long residential program. My mom decided to get me away to prevent it from happening. (That will actually be covered in a later blog but there’s afew more to come before that).
I’m going to try to get part three posted within the next few days.

Horrific. I can't believe the noise/kerfuffle that must have occurred when those men were talking to you in your bedroom and you punched one of them on the nose; surely your parents must've heard something... :(
Your Dad is one special kind of evil to have arranged that - to punish your Mum as much as yourself.
I admire your capability of forgiveness.
Anyway, this abhorrent practice needs to be outlawed and the authorities or government need to be made aware of what's going on.
Maybe your story could bring attention to this fact. I'm sure the media/Journalists are always looking for a story... something needs to be done. :)
I’m not sure how much they actually would hear. My dad has a big house and he’s always made sure that my room is far away from theirs so as to avoid disturbing him. (This goes back to when I was a baby. He didn’t want to be woken up by me crying so I had to be in a room far enough from his to reduce the risk of disturbing him and my mom had to sleep in close proximity to me so as to quieten me as quickly as possible. Such uncaring selfishness). My mom would probably not have awoken because,apart from the distance between our rooms,once she’s asleep nothing wakes her. I’m sure she could sleep through a nuclear attack. (Not actually but you know what I mean). Also,even if mom had woken up dad would have physically prevented from being able to help me.
The unfortunate fact is that the activities of the TTI are well known and all too many of the owners of these programs have powerful connections. That’s why all attempts to ban them have failed despite so many survivors telling our stories. Having said that I do know that the TTI fears survivors who won’t be silent and we all need to tell our stories and go on telling them.

Just on a lighter note. Lol. I saw something in your comment that reminds me of something mom keeps telling me. You spell mom with a u instead of an o. My mom’s always telling me that in the UK I should spell it mum not mom but I still spell it with an o because it doesn’t look right to me with a u. It’s actually become a playful battle of wills (as opposed to a real battle of wills).
I hope to get part three done some time within the next few days.

Ah right, that's understandable then - it being a large house and the distance between you and them.
Yes I know the terminology differs in America from the UK, quite a lot of sayings, like you say sidewalk and we say pavement, and the term Soccer and we say Football, "chips" (UK) vs. "fries" (US), "lorry" (UK) vs. "truck" (US), and "flat" (UK) vs. "apartment" (US). Other common differences are "petrol" (UK) vs. "gas" or "gasoline" (US), "lift" (UK) vs. "elevator" (US), and "torch" (UK) vs. "flashlight" (US) etc.
I'm sure us English folk can accept those differences :)
