Fooled myself into thinking you were someone dependable.
Such a hopeless endeavor, cuz to you I'm expendable.
You say you support me and drop heart emojis in my feed,
but can't be bothered and ghost me when I'm really in need.
My woes and tribulations are not as important as yours.
Never have been and never will be.
Your fake smile and indifference seems pretty par for the course.
It Feels like everyone must have come to the same agreement,
that I really do deserve this two-faced kind of mistreatment.
How dare I attempt to find success or just make some progress.
Begging for just a second, a moment, just to decompress.

I wrote another piece and showed it to my boyfriend and he made a few small edits/additions so I feel he definitely deserves co-writing credit on it. :)
