I'm 24? That's not old, is it???

i lowkey got a slap back to reality seeing my age in my profile lol cause in comparison to many on here i'm like old but in comparison to my co-workers for example, most are over 28 so i'm young af.

age is weird, aging is even weirder. tell me how my 30 years old colleague looks like she's like 23? and how in contrast, this other colleague who's 21 seems to be my brother's age (27)?

so like, 24 is not old, right??

maybe i just feel hella disconnected cause after turning 18 i spent almost four years just trying to survive my personal hell? so yeah, in comparison to 20 years old me, i'm hella more mature. but i've also experience a lot more of things, and made peace with some other things too. is that what aging is?

i'm 24, and i've been dissociated from myself for so long i don't feel like i am 24. but it also feels just right, cause my path is finally clearing to shinier plains outside of the forest and the storms don't feel as overwhelming as they used to. (and i still can't write this damn overwehlming world without using my corrector!!! cursed be the english language!!)
