I'm neutral about my name, it's an extremely basic girl's name that was super popular when I was born. I don't particularly like it, nor do I really want to go through the effort to change it. However sometimes I legit forget that my name is like.. my name, idk if that makes any sense. Like I have a bad habit of straight up ignoring people when they call for me because it just doesn't register immediately. The only exception to this is when my parents call for me.
I have like zero emotional/identity attachment to it so maybe that's why.

you don't have to spend too much effort if you ever do decide to change your name in the future. you could just casually tell people "hey, so you may know me by (this name) but i'd rather you call me (new name). thanks". but you don't have to put up with being referred by the name your parents gave you if you don't like it, homeslice.
Eh, there really aren't many names that I'd like to go by either, so that's also partially why I don't ever plan on changing it
