I have been doing a daily bulletin post where I post my favored songs from the Homestuck OST until my calendar comes, over the course of 25 days. I have decided to make an archival blog showcasing all of these, and it will be updated daily. Thank you so so much if you have tuned into these posts. It means the world to me.

a different, more altered version of this song was in psycholonials, given the fact that clark powell worked on the ost. this is the case with a lot of andrew hussies projects, having altered osts, reusing osts, or the same music artists working on them (e.g., toby fox, clark powell, and james roach, james being the most promient because i believe he was the director or worked on hs^2, but resided from doing so. they are all important in homestucks music making process, but so are the other artists, but some of them just had the tracks they made reused, and did not appear on other projects beyond that. michael guy bowman is important, as he made one of the most important songs and motifs in homestuck, but other than that hes not that credited, or well known as the other musicians, sadly.)

I ACTUSLLYLY KIND OF GOT USPE WHEN SPACEHEY WASNT LOODIGNG. BUT THE 10TH VOLUME IS SO FREAKIGN GOOD. ON THE HOMESTUCK BANDCAMP IN THE PAST SOME OF THE SONGS FROM VOLUME 9 WERE MERGED ON IT UNTIL THE BANDCAMP WAS FIXED,,,,, THE 10TH VOLUME REALLY SHOWS HOW MUCH PROGRESS HOMESTUCK HAS MADE AND HOW BEAUT;FUL OF A THING IT IS. ITS OST HAS CHANGED SO MUCHCHC AND IT HAS CHANGED SO MUCH IN GENERAL. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL

though this is kind of a well known song, i love it dearly. it makes me tear up, and shows how much homestuck has changed. it helped me a lot during my autistic burnout last year, and so did homestuck in general. ive learned the melody and how to play it as well, and its my favorite thing to put into midi editors. it is one of the many songs that are in [s]: collide, and rewatching it makes me cry. IT IS ALSO 6:12 MINUTES LONG, WHICH 612 IS A NUMBER IMPORTANT TO HIVEBENT. THE HOMESTUCK BANDCAMP DOES THIS SOMETIMES, MAKING THE PRICE OF THE ALBUMS 412, 512, AND ALSO HOW LONG IT IS I LOVE SO MUCH

volume 9 might be my fav homestuck album ever. i think its one of rhe many albums that show homestucks growth in music, and etc. it is the threshold between the beginning and the end, at least, in my opinion. there is a lot of variation in it, which makes it quite the enthralling album to go through. each and every song is amazing, and i love homestcu AND ITS OST DEARLY :')
i would like to thank everyone who has taken the time out of their day to read my bulletins and comment, i am sorry for not replying, as i post these a 12am and then head to sleep. it means the world to me that people are engaging in my bulletins aobut my special interest and enjoy it,,, im very very happi that you all are discovering homestucks amazing ost, as it is the least complex part of homestuck

the earlier albums in homestucks ost arent as lauded, with many factors at play: this is just the beginning of these musicians working together, and getting used to this, since to work on the music, hussie would only give them a few hints, and they would have to work from there. honestly, its quite impressive how well they did. homestuck was still in its early stage, a webcomic never planned to be so complex, and popular. most people tend to look past the early moments of homestuck or skip them, considering them feeble and unimportant. i believe many parts of homestuck are important, even the boring ones. you skipping what you find "boring" isnt reading homestuck, and is robbing you of the chance to warm up to the characters, and understand the story more, and let it have more of an impact on you. i love all of the parts of homestuck, and i always will remember the early parts of it. i really love the music paired with the felt, and midnight crew.

the themes for each character in coloUrs and mayhem fits so well,,,, a lot of these songs were reused in pesterquest, which is slightly the case for each album. pesterquest is the most prominent of examples of homestuck and its related works reusing motifs, and songs. i mentioned this while ago, with the song lancer being altered and put in the game psycholonials, since one of the homestuck musicians worked on it, clark powell. i also believe one of the pieces of music accioated with nepeta/meulins motif was put in there, too. also, off topic, the little spook tune or whatever from undertale is also in the hiveswap ost, since toby fox worked on it. i find homestucks music and its team and how it appears throughout andrew hussies media very interesting.

i have to say, heir transparent is an album that needs a little more attention. though, it was the album that contained MeGaloVania, it doesnt get that much attention beyond that. the attention towards the homestuck ost these days is a little fickle with new fans, as they werent approached with the exciting and bustling updates of homestuck, as well as its bandcamp. the consumption and overall the way people view this webcomic is a little different, which is to be expected. i really wish i could have been a teen in the golden days of homestuck, it seems so amazing but also scattered with chaos. i hope new fans and the new structure and the reconstruction can some what emulate the amazing creativity, and overall beautiful aspects of the old homestuck fandom. though, its still there, i have to admit sometimes new fans with that is hard to find, probably because of the constant brainrot consuming everyone. i tried to think of a song that is a little spooky, and halloween like in my perspective.

IM NOT HAPPY OH MY GOODENNSN
i love prospit & derse dearly, as i do with all homestuck media and albums. it does such a fanastic job of capturing the tone, difference and overall conveying a concept through music. you might hear some of the songs from this rather short album in snakestuck, whuch is one of my favorite games ever. i feel like some albums in homestucks waning are shorter, which is to be expected. many different people came and went in the music team, one of the people being jeremy solatrus lamurri, who did all of the music for this album. i honestly wish more of the homestuck ost would be released in some way, which is silly, since the webcomic is over. im very sad that it is, though. it was once something that brought people together through the helms of rapid creativity, in which consumed its fans. its beautiful to me, and i cannot put into words how much i love homestuck and all of its other media, and how freeing and passionate of an interest it is for me. its hard to talk about it, since sometimes i really enjoy engaging in it alone. but, homestuck is a moment in the internet that i want to relive so badly. its such a beautiful piece of work, scattered with merits and something that can stick with you. i know i sound like a priest or something, but this interest does mean a lot to me more than any other of my interests, and it always will. i am so happy i get to share it with people. i dony have many remarks on this album, given the fact that it is quite short, which i wish it wasnt the case. maybe i will also start posting daily homestuck videos i love or write essays; the latter is something i deeply enjoy.
