Today I'm going to the cove, might do some foraging, I'm not sure yet.

The place I'm going to is inside of Bellrose Island. Due to winter just ending, it looks like shit here, but that's okay. I still love my shitty little oasis.

The cove is gone. River is really high today, maybe I should get high with it. (I didn't sadly)

Someone has made a makeshift bridge where the old one used to be. It's literally just some logs someone tossed in the deep ass creek and it looks like it's gonna snap in half. Cheers to dying on an adventure!

I just found a water bottle tied to a tree branch with a thick string. I don't know what this is for so I'm cutting it down.

So there's a random fire extinguisher on a fallen down tree, it's just sitting here. weird

There are some trees that snapped in half due to the storms we've been having and some of them having yellow insides that smell like sulfur.

Finally made it to the coal docks, still as beautiful as I remember, you should see it when the tide is really low. It's breathtaking then.

Damn I have so many memories here, used to swim and fish here a lot before I moved away, now the city owns it and it's illegal to swim here. The rope swing is still up though at least.

The reason I'm standing like that is I tried to beat the timer, but I rolled my ankle and it hurts now. I was gonna try to ump on the rope swing and get this awesome pic, but I guess I'm gonna limp home. Good thing this comes out at Bellrose Meadows which is only like a 2 blocks from my apartment complex.

Walking out I just saw an entrance to a trail I haven't took in like 5 years, so I'll be back for that. If I'm not home soon my wife's gonna be pissed, so I gotta go.

On the way back home I was thinking of when my friends and I went on that one trail (Story for another Time) and thinking about we've all grown apart over the years and Spotify started playing The Light Behind Your Eyes by My Chemical Romance and of course the first line in that is "SO LONG TO ALL MY FRIENDS."
