Hi sorry I haven't posted a blog in a while, this month has been very hectic for me and I can hardly have time to even think lol. It's like 1am because I'm not tired and I felt like doing something other than doomscroll.Â
Last time I blogged, I brought up my paper that was due in two weeks. Well, I turned in my History paper the night it was due and managed to write about 6 pages, expanded to 8 after putting in my sources. I got a 47/50 on it and I am very proud of myself. I have another paper due for the same class that I definitely will not procrastinate on as I've learned my lesson. I had a research paper due for my APES class and while it hasn't been graded yet, I am definitely failing it.Â
Other than that, school academically has been going fine as usual. I have a reading packet due on Halloween that I really should get on doing. I have to read "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow" and answer a bunch of questions. I like the story so far. Speaking of Halloween, I haven't said what I'll be on here. I want to be Ramona Flowers, so I bleached and dyed my hair almost a month ago. The color wasn't super pink as I wanted, and now my hair is so faded that I'm a "brassy blonde". I also haven't gotten my costume pieces so I'm a bit anxious on that. At least two people at school know my costume, which is a boy in my science class and my English teacher, which caught me very off guard.Â
Socially, I've also been alright. I have a few amount of people I talk to at school, and they're plenty enough for me. My friend Laney is mainly who I'm with, as we take Graphic Arts and sit next to each other, although she doesn't talk much. I also have two clubs with her, Prism (a queer club) and Debate. I do not like debate a lot, mainly because of the kids but I stay just cause. Nobody acknowledges me so I'm fine. Prism is my favorite, we went to a field trip two weeks ago, in which we met up with other queer clubs in this huge auditorium. I loved it SO MUCH, it was like a convention with people like me, like the MCR show. I also became friends with my club members, which there is only a handful of. I also learned they're all freshmen....Makes a lot of sense, but they remind me of when I was a middle schooler so I understand them a lot.Â
