Summer and then some

Hello hello hello, I’ve returned. So after my accident (where I was omw to the first day at my new job, Amazon) I had to go to physical therapy, fun! And my elbows haven’t been the same. Working at amazon also didn’t help. They ended up cutting hours after prime and I also couldn’t bare the pain any longer. So then I had no job and I was in pain. On the bright side, I had moved in with my beautiful girlfriend!! Silver lining. This woman is amazing, a god send, and I never fail to remind her. Then I found a job, YAYY!! Had to go to trainings for about a month. I was so happy. I went from Campus aide to TA to IA and then ended up at amazon over the summer just to end up as a BI, behavioral interventionist, right after. I loved that job. But silly little me, a rainy day and three steps were my demise obviously. I fractured my foot. Work couldn’t accommodate me.. and I had no insurance. So after a month with no work and depression, frustration, and PAIN.. I finally got looked at by a specialist and got a boot (which I had to pay for because the government hates its people.) Was finally able to file for unemployment because I’m stuck in a boot for the next two months. He said if it wasn’t better by then well surgery is the next step but i don’t think it’ll get to that. Anywho. My partner has been an angel throughout all of this. I am so thankful and proud to be her girlfriend. She’s been the breadwinner for a little over a month now so I take care of our apartment and buying groceries and making dinner. I just wish i could do kore financially tha buy groceries. I used to fill up her gas tank and take her out everywhere when I was working steadily. I miss that. I’m sure she does to, but she’s been reassuring this whole time which I’m grateful for. Moving in has been so nice, I’ve basically been living with her for 3/4 months. It’s been perfect. I have high hopes for a beautiful future with her.
