#12. heat lightning running outside the window

i was researching college stuff because i couldn't sleep (as one does) when suddenly my back window in my room lit up out of the corner of my eye in my mirror !!! crazy. i was like hmmm maybe there's a stalker outside my window taking pictures of me (his victim) and im going to die right now. and then it happened AGAIN and i was so friggin scared i was like wtf is there a storm outside. BUT NO!! NO rain no lightning. 

it happens.. a THIRD TIME!! i'm like okay dude turn off your flash you're distracting me. so i look it up right and oh called heat lightning! so i read about that a bit and then i went to go try and record it but i had to turn my bedroom light on because it was kinda scary and dark out there and i kept hearing noises like cracking (from the wood expanding or shrinking or whateva) and cars (from down in the valley) and i swear to god i got it on video and i still don't know what it is but whatever it was sounded like a PERSON saying something like "cough it" or "stop it" or whatever and holy shit that scared the crap outta me. pissed me diaper. so i shut my door real quick but i did get a couple flashes of the lightning on video which is cool ill show my mom when she gets up. 

anyways the point of this i was like HEY.. heat lightning is a MITSKI song. and guess what the lyrics are "heat lightning running outside the window / i've laid awake since one and now it's four o clock" AND GUESS WHAT time IT IS RN?? 3:40 AM!! it's four o clock. maybe there's a prophecy for me in that song 

anyways i should have gone to bed a long long time ago because i have a meeting at 12 but it's too late for that now im debating whether i should just stay up because if i sleep now ill be even more tired than if i stay up.
