idk if anyone else remembers or doesn't do this anymore but i remember in like peak 2020-2022 or 23 era everyone that was gay would introduce themselves by saying their name, pronouns, and exact sexuality and gender identity 💀...like hello????? why were we doing that.....i just remembered because the gsa at my school has a discord server and there was an introductions channel and everyone was doing that. like thinking back on it why the fuck were people doing that???????? there was no reason to do that??????? i dont share that anymore. i'm not even like uncomfortable sharing my identity and i also know exactly what mine is, but i just feel like thats really weird?? like imagine you barely know someone and then all of a sudden they tell you um yeah so i like guys and girls but only girls i am attracted to sexually so liek only romance with guys like okay?? thats fine just like how is that relevant?? like pronouns actually makes sense becuase thats just like how youre supposed to refer to them. that's actually useful. but i just dont see why we were all sharing our exact gender and sexuality identities immediately after meeting someone lmao like
