I HAVE TO GET BRACES FML

Soo my mom has finally forced me to get braces after nonstop talking about how bad my teeth look like my whole life. The orthodontist guy i saw was really nice and he said i had great teeth though so that was nice because ive never had anyone dentist or otherwise say that to me before. But uhm November 6th i get braces and im not excited at all, the lady there told me i could NOT eat popcorn and thats my literal comfort food that i cant go a week without so i might get popcorn withdrawls (joke) my dad promised to find me an alternative and really if i just have a supply of white cheddar cheetos then i will be just fine. 

The worst part about getting braces is that i already look like a 10 year old boy as is, im fucking short, have a high ass voice, and a baby face that i hate. People literally think im a freshmen STILL even though im a junior, i genuinely cant stand it- even having my friends call me 'son' makes me uncomfortable now just because it feels like they're infantalizing me, which i have talked to them about and they have stopped calling me that as often and also offered to stop completely so (i love my frienddds dude) But i mean like im gonna be even MORE chopped dude its so over, like im gonna be completely nerfed. One of my friends said the whole "angel will lose its wings" thing to me about it and even tho it was a joke they are not wrong, it took me years to finally like my teeth and smile and now thats all gonna go away. 

One bright side of getting braces is that my mom is gonna get one of those water brush things for your teeth, my grandmother had one of those and i used to just sit there and clean my teeth with them until i ran out of water. Also now my mom literally cannot refuse my reptile expo gecko venture because its the week after i get my braces so its like my 'reward' now. I'm about to make another blog about my gecko anyways because its the only thing ive been thinking about for months and im sure everyone has heard enough, my mom still gets upset when i talk about it too but idgaf !!!! Also double bonus my friend pointed out that ill be just like mondo gecko so hell yeah yk (hes my profile picture btw you cant REALLY tell but his archie comic version has braces and its silly)
