Romance of Death and Grief

The leaves keep waiting there

To see me, to grasp me

Into a world long forgotten,

A shrine long abandoned,

Still shining, thought. Still chanting

The same old song.

The notes are quite shy, a little too bright

Trying, desperatly to reimagine

The touches, kisses and colors

That we perpetuated, eternally dancing

To the same old song.

I cannot walk, nor talk;

Only stand at your sight

Oh, lonely statue of the night.

The crows abandoned you

The flowers lusted you

Your sins, though, still remain

Forever crying out loud the fallen

Dreams that crawls your art,

Your might, your fate.

Because never will you laugh again

The joys of youth and wind blows,

They will forevermore and ever along

Chant for you

The same old song.
