Love is not a really feeling anymore. Now a days it's all about "cracking" the "huzz" and how many bodies you have. And I think it's sad. To know that their are kids my age and younger thinking that they need to have sex in order to be cool is insane to me. At 13 years old I was to scared to even hold a boy's hand and still am.Â
I think it's insane to know that KIDS are probably having more sex then adults. I had a friend that had a miscarriage in 7th grade. 7TH GRADE. I feel bad of course. Not for her but for her parents. Love in this society is going downhill super fast.
TikTok and just social media in general has put thoughts in young peoples mind about what relationships should and should not look like. Of course sometimes they can be helping people get out of future toxic relationships but there is no reason that a couple cant hang out with the opposite gender without someone saying, "Ouu go through that phone."
Social media has ruined dating and has ruined trust. I dont even recommend dating until freshman year of high school. (9th grade) I got into my first relationship in 6th grade and it was the worst thing that I could have done.Â
Social media made me think that dating was the best thing that could happen to me. And of course it can be but it wasn't. The relationship i was in was very toxic and I didn't even realize because all I knew was that he was "possessive" over me and social media made me think this was good.Â
Dating has effected my life in ways that I wish I could go back in time to fix. Please if you're under 13 and you are reading this. Don't have sex. I don't even recommend getting into a relationship. And if you do wait atleast a few months. You dont know a person after 2 weeks, 1 month, or even 4 months. People can and WILL change. You don't wanna be in a relationship with that person while they're going through that change because you don't know how it will end.

I find that (often) mainstream media, especially when it comes to children, is not indicative of the way children actually are. Contrary to how it may seem, minor pregnancy has been steadily decreasing! Often, while online you may see people in unhealthy relationships just for the sake of dating somebody, in real life it is more often than not genuinely for romance. I think that a lot of the reason we believe children are like this is due to the internet, if we had the algorithms we have today back in the 80's, things would be relatively similar to the way they are now.
I did not know that pregnancy when it comes to minors was actually decreasing! Thank you for informing me on that because i most def would've never known. It was just a topic that i wanted to talk about and felt like should be talked about.
And i 99.99% agree with your opinion.
