sorry its been a while since we last spoke. a lot has happened to us it would seem

good news is im finally not obsessed with you anymore! isnt that great? well, i supposed there still some obsession here and there, but let me reassure you that my limerence is completely gone, and i am ready to love you normally

ive waited so long for your return. we both agreed it would be best for us to take some time away from each other; me especially, so i can heal and learn to love you properly. i thought maybe we could finally start over again 

but perhaps ive hoped for too much, and it appears you have fallen for someone else during my absence

i still had so much left in me, so many words and emotions i had to say to you, and now they will never be spoken to you. you have thrown me away once again for someone else. ironic, isnt it 

nevertheless, ill always be here; a dog waiting for their owner to return home. even if its been nearly 10 years since then, ill be here waiting for you to come home to me, even if youve already found a new one to go to
