Oookey so n my last blog i talked abt how i waz planning 2 flash a neu OS 2 my samsung 303 chromebook, since it is moderated and alot of functions are restricted, including updates. But i was worried cuz i heard alot of things about linux n i was fearing it wasnt very beginner friendly, fortunately i now know about linux mint!

Unfortunately tho it seems dat i might still hav 2 uze a not so beginnr friendly linux OS for dis specific laptop (the samsung 303) I hav a dell latitude E5450 that i am planning 2 boot linux mint 2, juuuust so i can test da waters but after that im kinda blind.. qwq
I am painstakingly doing dis manually on mac so fuck, thats my coding experience for the day i guess. I cannot use boot camp assistant bcuz it simply isnt compatible, i cant use others bcuz dey r 4 windows :T n i cant use belena etcher bcuz it refuses 2 work, such happi tiemz ^-^ ... I have decided 2 just do it -nike manually thru da terminal since dat iz apparently a way, n holy fuck dude, dis is ma moms macbook n i hope i DO NOT fuck anything up. O_O I made a minor mistake by running n incomplete command.. twice, aaaannd i hope dat doesnt do anything! 0vo
So far ive managed to understand how to flash this os manually and that i will hopefully never touch a mac again! :D Ive changed da boot settingz of ma E5450 to legacy n i got an error saying something about a partition table?? D;' Sooo after sum professional forum surfing i found out how2 manually change da usb format 2, although i cannot spell 4 da life of meh..-v- n manually flashing via a terminal is hell, esp when i hav 2 start over if i mess 1 stupid command up >:[ bcuz of a stupid unmount command i hav 2 enter every time i wish 2 alter da usb n any way.
My mom needs her macbook tomorrow so unfortunately i must give it up, i got so close 2 actually flashing the os but im not there yet sadly. ;-;
-------- waiting until tomorrow afternoon --------
