Zero coding experince and slightly anxious about starting a project LMAO

Sooo recently i wuz gifted a samsung 303c chromebook, my grandma thought i could use it n i can, im even using it right now 2 write dis blog! :D Da only issue is dat da laptop is owned by liek a school or smth?? I have NO clue where she got it but bcuz of dis moderation it haz restrictionzzzzz. Occasionally i mess with tech but i hav nevr coded n ma life O_O i hav attempted 2 learn java on multiple occasions n i kinda kno da bare minimum of html LMAO.

Long story short i need 2 flash a new OS 2 dis laptop giyz. I hav a general clue on how2 but when it comes 2 specifics ESPECIALLY LINUX CODE i am utterly clueless aside from 2 tuts on youtube from LIEK 7 YRS AGO?!!!? Alot of comments say they run n2 errors but alot of people have been trying those methods on computerz dat r NOT da 303c samsung; 2 confirm if dat method iz applicable on other devices.. I checked da inside and there r no security screwz, soooo i should be all gud when it comes 2 getting n2 developer mode but i jus dont know what 2 do beyond dat. >_< I have a clue... but i really like havin exact specifix esp 4 my 1st time doin somethin as technical as dis. O_o

I rlly love dis little laptop n i dont wan2 lock myself out of it by starting smth i cant finish BUT there is anotha laptop i can attempt booting as well >:D a sort of test run if you will, as dis computer is already without an OS and vry vry confused. Da thing wit that tho is i would b installing windows (my grandma wants me 2) which has an entire different and more accessible booting process.. Evn if i manage 2 properly boot a neu OS 2 it i still would be walking into installing linux blind. >.< Especially 4 a chromebook, as da other laptop iz a dell laptop. ;c

Should i dual boot windows AND linux on2 the dell or would dat b a bad idea? Or simply not helpful since da terminals could b different? I legitimately have 0% idea wat im doing lololol n im learning everything from old ass youtube videos n forums. Which hav been xtremely helpful since i originally had dis as an idea and wuz ACTUALLY clueless but da more i learn da more i c room 4 ERROR. T^T

Another thing i am worried abt iz dat i hav 0% of a on clue how2 flash windows 10 2 a usb. Well i DO know how but im doing the flashing from a mac n i SWEARRRR its like they tell me wut it is im searching 4 den i go 2 look 4 it n itz zomethin different entirely!! I found out how n external sourcez zays boot camp assistant seems liek da only 1 4 mac dat would b able 2 flash win10, i hav downloaded etcher for linux. Boot camp comes pre-installed on mac but when i open it i get n ERROR saying "bootcamp isnt supported on mac" .... despite being a mac only application..?

So now im thinkin i will jus hav 2 install linux on both!.... Great experience but uhh jus y apple? ._.
