i am deadass so tired of having to use a barely usable app that can't connect to a machine to save its goddamn life just to do my laundry. also the fact that laundry is $3 PER load is absolutely ridiculous. i feel like im being beaten like a pinata just to wash my clothes right. i also look so ridiculous having to step outside of my laundry room to wave my phone around in the air outside just for some signal so i can actually even pay the ridiculous $3 to do it.
also my app doesnt let you input how much money you can refill for your account and the lowest is like $10. what if i dont want to put in $10 if im only just a LITTLE low. come on
no because what are we even doing genuinely. college students are already broke enough why do we have to charge so much money for laundry. its so comically evil.
so its like $6 for a wash/dry load and then the machines arent even really well kept so sometimes id just find the weird lint balls on my clothes because the vents or something is overloaded.
btw im opening this blog up to be a full on landlord/apartment experience hate-thread. please tell me all of your apartment woes and i will tell you all of my experiences (both living with roommates in the past and now on my own)

That's actually nuts. I'm glad I haven't seen any of those where I live, but it's crazy that those even exist. Coin laundry's simplicity is the best thing about it. Dirty clothes in. Coin in. Clean clothes out.
it's so so so awful im glad that you dont have to deal with the hellscape that is paying $6 just to wash your clothes. at my last apartment it was like $2.50ish per load and now i gotta pay that extra 50 cents.. i would complain more but living at my last apartment was so awful that im just totally willing to cope
