Grounded is probably my favorite survival game in recent times

So i'm the type of guy who doesn't really replay games, so i usually pick games that have a gameplay loop intead so i don't get bored after the story.

This is probably the reason i'm not super into story games and opt to watch a playthrough instead.

But here i am, playing grounded again, with a different friend this time :D

I like playing together with others intead of just alone, sometimes i like being alone, like atm i'm just building my base while my friend is offline. But having company is preferable for me.

I've come to realize that my favorite type of game is a specific type of survival, and that is the usual experience but with creatures! I was a big fan of ark survival evolved. But i could go on about the shitty optimization of that game and other problems...

So instead i've started exploring other survival games, and grounded had such a fun premise that i had to check it out, and i haven't been able to really move on since :D

I'm especially exited about the sequel in development, which added the most important feature that was missing from the first game for me, and that is tameable bugs!

Because who doesn't want a huge wolf spider as a pet, c'mon guys.

And this game is also incredibly nostalgic for me, because as a kid there we're so many stories about having to survive when shrunk down or like being a fairy.

I remember really wanting a house made out of leaves and acorns, and also wanting a treehouse on my backyard, and my dad refused to build one (i am still lowkey bitter about this over a decade later lmao)

But yeah, grounded = good (atleast imo)

Gotta give a heads up if it wasn't obvious from when i meantioned keeping a wolfs pider as a pet, this game has a lot and i mean A LOT of spiders. Personally i don't have arachnophobia, but veryone that i have dragged into playing this with me has had that :D I'm just evil like that ig :P

BUT there is an arachnophibia mode, where the spiders are just floating orbs, which is funny.
