An interesting birthday - 20/12/2021

My parents took me to Peterborough as none of my friends wanted/ were able to hang out with me :/ We went to Queensgate and headed straight for Damaged Society, unfortunately they didn't have any shirts that I wanted (in the store), so I might check what they have online. Instead I got a chain and some badges. 

We then went to Primark, M&S, H&M and TK Maxx, as well as buying some sandwiches and these delicious pretzel sticks :D After that, nothing much happened. 

It was an okay birthday, nothing special, despite it was my eighteenth. I would've gone to Camden (probably in January or after Christmas for the sales) with my friends, without my parents, but COVID worsened so... This was far better than my tenth birthday though, I had a shared birthday "party", at Play2Day, with my ex-friend, Deanna, because we shared the same birthday. She invited everyone in our primary school, and I invited a few people outside of Cavalry but majority of the people I invited didn't come. And the problem was, nobody liked me in Cavalry, a bunch of the kids were bullying me throughout the party. Even the cake wasn't very good. I remember just playing by myself in the ball pit and the slides, and just clambering about alone because I didn't have any friends back then. 

I didn't really make any proper friends until I was about fifteen, who I'm still friends with now. Don't get me wrong, they're far more supportive and understanding than who I used to be "friends" with, but I'm slightly debating our friendship now because they didn't want to hang out with me, I told them that I cancelled the Camden trip, and that maybe we could hang out in town or Peterborough on my birthday, and they said sure to begin with, but the day before, they're suddenly busy or too tired or some sort of excuse. I understand that people have a life but at the same time, I felt a little betrayed/ let down...
