did it scared

since Thursday i had been absolutely dreading going into work due to what happened in yesterdays blog (which you can read here). my shift today started at 4:30 PM and i spent almost 3 hrs before then just doomscrolling because i was terrified of going in today and getting dirty looks. or worse, getting chewed out by my manager IRL. but she wasn't here, and no one yelled at me. i was definitely quieter today than normal, but i otherwise survived. i think by hour 2 i was finally at ease.

i'm not out of the weeds yet. i'm 99% sure my manager will be there tomorrow, and i will have to face her eventually regardless, but the hardest part is over. i did it scared, and it worked.
