how can you say you don't like rap, like ANY?
there're so many subcultures of rap there has to be a style for you. Rap is genuinely one of the most fluid types of music. Rap has to be in the top 5 best type of music genres ever in history. Rap can be politically fueled with strong messages; rap is basically poems with beats.
most lyrical geniuses are rappers, and I stand by that. I grew up listening to rap since my father was a big rap enthusiast and I genuinely believe it shaped the way I interpret music.
Anyhow my point is that rap is epic and if you say you don't like any type of rap you're just a bum

I might not be a big rap fan, but I'm a casual listener of it and I agree. I get disliking genre because it just doesn't click, but hating it? It's a pretty strong word. Rap, just like any other genre have different subcultures, different musician have different sound. From how they write their lyrics we can take a glimpse of who they are as a person or even just how creative they are. I don't know where hating the genre even from, if it's because the mainstream songs were raunchy then there's like other rappers who made songs with different lyrical content that suits their comfort.

also genres like cloud rap exist??
genuinely like rap is so peak you just need to find the specific style you like
