i am not smart.
when i say "i am not smart", i don't mean that i don't know math, or don't know coding, or that i do dumb stuff. when i say that i'm not smart, i mean i am not artistically smart.
(visualizer i think it's very pretty and is the perfect example of the kinds of visuals i'd like to do.)
it took me a long time to even know wtf i even feel about myself. it took me a long time to know myself, to understand what it was to be a human. ever since i began my journey on becoming someone better, i always loved the idea of expressing yourself in the craziest, most abstract ways possible so few people even get what you truly mean. i can't call myself an artist. far from it - i'm just an appreciator.
i tried looking for ways to express myself following this principle, but didn't get much. i did stuff that looks pretty but it's far from an expression. the maximum i think i did was these codepen CSS stuff that related to IRL situations that happened to me, and made me sad. everytime i got sad, or felt bad, i always would do a little project containing a sentence and an ASCII art (which isn't made by me).
there's also small video edits. these ones doesn't really mean anything, but i wanted to achieve good visuals. used a sentence of my friend's poem, and phrases i used in these CSS things. it is in my native language, though (brazilian portuguese) - this one was made in beautiful Museu do Amanhã here in Rio de Janeiro!!
that's all, i think. i love all of you artists out there. i appreciate your work a lot and i truly wish to one day find a better way to express myself. thanks for reading!!

i understand what you mean, despite having spent my whole life making art and wanting to pursue an artistic career, most of the time i feel like what i make never shows the intentions or feelings behind it, and that can be really frustrating, but the thing about art is that there really isn't a ''right way to do it'' and most of the times, it is really about having fun. someday, every artist will create something they are proud of, something they feel perfectly describes their intentions and feelings, and that day will come to you too.
this sounds really dramatic, but keep it up, you make pretty cool stuff!!!

i believe that, despite you not being the creator of the ASCII art, you create a new meaning by uniting it with a sentence. truly poetic, bro.
e sendo bem sincero, achei muito massa a sua edit. é uma união de poesia com algo mais abstrato e artÃstico, sem contar a cor predominante que traz uma certa melancolia. fiquei parecendo aqueles crÃticos de arte agora kkkkkkk, mas gosto de apreciar qualquer manifestação artÃstica que seja. ficou muito bom.
