Nothing Bundt Cake Review #2 - Caramel Apple Cider and Carrot

I didn't think to make this into a multiple-part series, but I thought it would be fitting to make this. The official NBC for the caramel apple cider reads as follows: "A spice cake baked with apple cider, coated with apple spice cinnamon sugar and filled and topped with caramel sauce."

Here are my thoughts on the caramel apple cider bundtlet:

• The caramel drizzle complimented the apple cider cake. I've never had anything apple cider flavored before, but I can definitely tell it had some flavoring in it. Of course, the cream cheese and caramel were more noticeable, however the cider and the cinnamon-sugar really bring the cake together.
• The middle bundt divot is filled with caramel syrup. I subjectively believe this is the best part, but I have a huge sweet tooth, so take that with a grain of salt. (Or should I say sugar!)

Overall, the caramel apple cider flavor gets an 8/10.

Onto the carrot flavor, the description reads as follows: "Warm taste of cinnamon and nutmeg with carrot and pineapple pieces." Here are my thoughts:

• I didn't taste the pineapple pieces. Probably for the better, since ever after having pineapple in a savory dish, I'm always freaked out about the taste. That isn't to say I don't like it; maybe I don't notice the pineapple pieces because I actually prefer the taste complimenting a carrot and cinnamon cake rather than a stir-fry!
• The cinnamon really stood out. I don't think the cake has much of a carrot taste to it, and the sugar and cinnamon doesn't help it. But I can't say no to cinnamon, it's gotta be one of my favorite spices.
• Cream cheese frosting makes it all the better, but not surprising, since I would die for cream cheese frosting, lol.

Overall, the carrot flavor gets a 9/10. I know these two reviews are kind of shallow compared to my s'mores flavor review, but I really do rank these higher.
