I WENT DOWN A RABBIT HOLE after lsitneign to 3 days grace and I fell involve with THEMMM then started experimenting with bullets for my valentine and I was listening to SCREAMO I THINK??
then I wanted to epxierment with death..blakc metal? idk the difference but I lowkey like it
I FINALLY GET WHAT BTICHES BE TALKING ABOUT when they talk about music
because whenever someone shows me some artist they like I NEVER...liked..it so much idk?
LIKE ive always stuck to pop and never ventured past it because ei ddint really find a genre I liked

or like TYLER THJE CREATOR (I know everyone loves him I LIKE A FEW OF HIS SONGS but soemtimes I feel like. STUPID or smm for not getting everything 😭)
I DIDNT SEEE WHAT PEOPLE liked in mainstream music ig idk because everyone would tell me smm was good and I wouldn't find too much interest in it
ESP ARTISTS with faint vocals in the background and its mostly instruments EVEN THEN the music composition (?) wasnt that interesting to me ig? so ive mostly found that kind of lame to me idk
I REALLY LIKE THE MORE AGRESSIVE MSUIC STYLES because ei lowkey can focus even if all I hear is growls and drums and guitars BUT I FIND IT REALLY STIMULATING its the perfect background music for studying ngl lmao
PLUS THE DRUMS AND ESPECIALlY THE GUITAR RIFFS ARE ACTUALLY DISNTICT AND CLEAR AND COMPLEX AND INTERETSING AND SO STIMULATING AGHHHH
and its crazy coming for a guy explicitly known for being cutsy and bubbly
who listens to kpop and loves everything pink and brightly colored

Liberating madness
The difference between black metal is mostly in atmosphere and technicality black metal is more faster with high-pitched screaming while death metal is more technical with varying speed and using lower-pitched guttural vocals It is also more focused on brutality.
If you want some bands similar to Thy Art Is Murder I recommend: Whitechapel, Within Destruction, black tongue, Infant Annihilator, Rings of Saturn.
Here are some other bands I like Memphis May Fire, Loathe, Sleep Token, Gojira, Korn, Slipknot, Spirit Box, Rammstein, and Meshuggah.
