Journal #60

I've been doing little but working and being around my boyfriend. That little cat I found, Maisy, had kittens little less than a month ago. There are six: five girls and one boy. Their names are Hatsune Miku, Maggie, Rei, Jiji, Miso, and Lil' Jude (the boy). They are going to be 4 weeks old on Wednesday and I couldn't be happier with them. I'm so grateful I was able to give Maisy home and a safe space to have and raise her babies. Taking care of them is becoming more taxing as they get older and start to play and run, but it's very much worth it. I haven't written much because of how busy I've been. I've just been working and knocking back edibles, but I'm out and taking a detox month. 

About half a month ago, Boyfriend went out and bought his very first house. He's going to rent it out to others and continue to do so until he has several he can rent out and I've just been working. I won't lie and I'll put it bluntly: I hate my job. Waking up at four in the morning as a natural night owl has not been very good for me, but I need the money so I need to put my grief aside. I got terribly sick last week. I had a cold, stomach flu combo so I couldn't work for three days. I only had sick time for two so I believe I've lost a day of income. I'm not even 100% sure on that though, but if I have it's going to be rough. For now, I'm trying to look forward to everything me and Boyfriend have planned for ourselves. Like this upcoming weekend, there's a local renaissance fair and I'm excited to go. I thrifted a beautiful bridal gown I'm going to wear as it looks like a princess dress. I'm seriously considering getting married in it, but that's a ways away so we'll see. Also, the final stage of Boyfriend's surgery is coming up so we're very excited to see the results. It's just a quick test, but we both hope the results are same day so we can finally enjoy the fruits of this whole process. We've also got a couple concerts we plan on going to and a Scott Pilgrim halloween event he'd like to host. I hope he asks me to help him. I miss making music with him so much it hurts. 

I miss my hobbies too. I've usually just been napping after work, but I need to get on with submitting more job applications for better paying work and working on things that I enjoy. That's about all I have to share at the moment, I think. Thank you for reading.
