something i think about frequently is how america kept around the whole stigma against learning herbal remedies and repackaged it as an "antivax hippie mom" thing. like yes im glad im not gonna be burned at the stake for having a nice cup of chamomile before bed every night but i do in fact get vaccinated and dont smoke weed. ive mentioned this in my other post about teas, but i buy any looseleaf teas online because my favorite shop is out of state and they sell looseleaf tea in little plastic bags... yk what that looks like. im not risking tripping a couple blocks away from the store and getting the cops called on me buy some karen becuase i'm black and look younger than i am. ion wanna end up as a police brutality statistic. i guess it also doesnt help that i make homemade wine from time to time either.

also- i decided to have a dedicated layout for my fun tea posts. the old post changed too because the previous image i used was likely AI generated and i dont fuck with that.

Ah so true...Western ignorance born of pride knows no bounds u_u ...it's such a shame too because so many herbal remedies are actually quite effective! One of my favorite "teas" is a brown sugar + ginger tea which helps to "warm" the body in Chinese traditional medicine.
