Hi i died but we're chilling

School has been so much that i am already burnt out and have watched my screen-time rise dramatically and its killing me because i'm always aware that im doomscrolling when i do it. One thing that helps is that my feed is mostly nature related stuff but for some reason sometimes is just wipes my whole curated page and gives me straight garbage and its like no take me back i wanted to learn about sharks and see cute geckos. SPEAKING OF GECKOS!!! I AM GETTING A CRESTED GECKO IN NOVEMBER!!! WHAT??!!! (at least my parents are allowing me to think so but knowing my mom i am a little doubtful, but i have until then to convince her fully) There's an expo nearby at that time which is why that is my date i have set up, i already have friends willing to babysit if i was to leave town and my only issue supply wise is finding the right enclosure thats not like 200 bucks, but i have the funds for a pretty good one with me and i am so willing to drop some money on it since its ONE enclosure that the animal will live in for its 15-20 year life, so it can be easily justified with my parents as well.

 I don't really have much else going for me rn other than that lol, my Ap Bio class is so done for because its been three weeks and shes still not through the first topic (which the UNIT that topic is in is supposed to take half the time we spent on it)  so thank cybertron that my best friend is THE biology person bc they are probably going to be the reason we all don't completely fail. I also am joining quiz bowl with all my friends which is the first club i've joined since freshmen year, ive also had people ask me to join interact or whatever its called where you do all the service hours, but we will see, i have SO much on my plate this year that one after school thing might be to much. I also have had a blast in journalism and every single day we all have a great conversation or debate, and we have a lot of people turning in photography and art (no writing yet but we are all writing in the class so its alright for the first issue) We also have a class playlist and it sparks a conversation every day because we have musicals and stuff right next to heavy metal or loud punk next to like clario and then also next to tenacious D and its just good fun.  Idk what else to say and i want to shower so er
