Before I became a vegetarian chicken curry was one of my favourite meals. I have since learned that you can get vegetarian chicken curry that tastes like the real thing but so far I haven’t tried it because I want to be sure it really is vegetarian. For example,do they use chicken juice or something like that to flavour it? Because then it wouldn’t properly be vegetarian. So this is a genuine request for information. Is vegetarian chicken curry actually vegetarian? I really want to know.

Out of curiosity I just googled: is real chicken stock used as a flavouring for chicken crisps?
Answer: No, real chicken stock is generally not used to flavor chicken crisps; instead, they use dried seasonings and flavorings that mimic the taste of chicken, often containing yeast extract, garlic, onion, and various herbs and spices. While these seasonings are formulated to produce a roasted chicken flavor, they don't typically include actual stock from boiled chicken bones and meat.
So I imagine this method is used in a variety of vegetarian dishes.
You can also buy beef stock cubes to flavour meals up that don't contain animal derivatives, too :)
I admire your decision to go meat free. That must be quite difficult when you enjoy the flavour of meat.
