boredom and creativity (video)

I watched this very interesting video about creativity and boredom, and it got me thinking on something tangential. 

I've been feeling bored of the music I listen to for a while now, and I get easily bored of new music I find too. It feels like an endless cycle of me trying to find new songs to listen to, until I get bored of them and look for my next fix. It's exhausting and frustrating. 

So I think it'd be good for me to try to not listen to music on my commute anymore. This way, I hope I'll feel motivated to listen to music when I'm at home, and hopefully this will lead to me feeling inspired by it again.

My end goal is to enjoy drawing more like I used to, and I think a big part of that was the music I was listening to.

This is also related to the video I have linked above; I want to allow myself time with my thoughts, even if it's during commuting.
