i know, i'm not old.
but i am getting older
and it's so strange seeing kids with like "class of 2028" or "2011 baby" in their bios because what !!!!!! what do you mean 2011 baby. you're like fucking four years old how are you on the internet. holy shit you're fourteen. what the fuck
like one of my support group workers was talking about their friends baby which was only born last year and... what on earth ? i thought they stopped making those years ago !!! wasn't 2009 the cut off !?
i hate sounding like one of those "my year is superior to your year and yada yada" because it's not like that. it's just like... i was your age. i still feel like i am but i'm an adult now and i'm only getting older. it's weird being the adult when just a few years ago i wasn't. i know that's how time works but no one really prepares you for it?
at the same time i feel bad for kids now. i know some adults were saying the same thing about my age group when we were little and i never really got it but now i do. the world is fucking awful and it's only getting worse. being born during damn near world war 3? that fucking sucks. it's not like i had it a whole lot better but at least the news wasn't "next, the bombing of eighteen different countries and why tuesday next week is doomsday" every afternoon

My sister was born in 2016 tho, so I'm not *that* shocked to learn people's ages when I always compare it to her. But like... still I feel so old. Wdym it's been 3 years since I turned 18?!?!? I'm gonna cry, it's been max 6 months T_T

i do have siblings that are born after 2010, it's so surreal seeing them form their own thoughts and reference memes/brainrot 3 (not saying it's a bad thing, it's just silly and they're not tiktok levels of brainrot lol)

i was working at a summer camp and i refuse to let myself think about when these kids were born because otherwise i'll freak out over the passage of time. my campers were born when i was going into middle school? it just feels unreal. THE MOVIE FROZEN IS OLDER THAN THEM!?

I'm a 2009 baby, I feel really old yet young at the same time. Its normal to feel old around young ppl lolz.
I feel like every few years the world starts degrading until people get their senses Then, the world start degrading AGAIN. Humans from time to time have to deal with some kind of hell. Hearing the news and being around very irresponsible old people who try CONSTANTLY to remove people rights and just good quality for the normal citizens makes me stand up at night worrying. But, I think people have the ability to connected and get together when thigs get worse. No one continues to take shit for long.
