It looks like I might be going home in two weeks. I’m so ready to leave Wyoming and finally be back in Arkansas with my family and friends but I’m also scared. Every time I go home, I’m paranoid my ex will find me.
He once told me, “If I ever see you again, I’ll kill you.” And I believe him. He’s followed me and my best friend around town before, only backing off when he realized we were heading to her parents’ house. He’s the kind of man who’s terrified of other men but has no problem putting his hands on women. Just the sight of him paralyzes me.
A few months ago, my mom and I were at Walmart in our hometown when I spotted a familiar face one of the girls he cheated on me with. The second she saw me, she immediately pulled out her phone, and I knew she was calling him. I told my mom we had to leave now. As we drove off, I turned around and saw him sprinting toward the entrance. Thank God my mom had just gotten a new car one he didn’t recognize.
He messaged my sister, threatening, “Your dad needs to think about what he posts.” (My dad had shared wedding photos of me and my husband.) My sister ripped into him, but my husband? He’s not scared. Just furious and rightfully so. I was stupid because I never thought getting my camera out to document stuff and keep it as evidence. But I will be okay.

Fuck.
Yeah it sucks. I moved away but he figured out other ways to contact me through other people who I have blocked now. I was told he came to the town that I moved to and checked every apartment to see if I lived there. We were living in a house so he didn’t find me.

That's scary... this guy sounds like trouble. I'm sorry... :\
He is a very scary person. In front of people he was the nice guy but behind closed doors he was a monster. He pushed me down a flight of stairs and got pissed off because I survived. My Dad had a dream of my ex killing me the same day and picked me up on my lunch. He paid for a storage and helped me move everything out that same day. I never told my family what happened and didn't say anything until my now husband let the cat of the bag. Couldn't hide the night terrors and PTDS attacks anymore.
