Went to the beach with family

My cousin's visiting our town this week, and I can't wait to blog about it!

Wawa hoagies

The plan was for my oldest sister to pick up me and my other sister, get sandwiches for the beach, and meet up with the others at the place. I ordered myself a BBQ Honey Smoked Turkey hoagie, but the turkey actually came in breast form, so it kept trying to slide off my sandwich when eating it.

The sandwich also came with pickles, which I kind of liked at first, but got worse when I kept eating it, so I picked it off after a bit. My oldest sister similarly ordered another turkey hoagie, but with jalapenos. I took a bite out of it, and it was pretty tasty.

The beach

It was pretty hot, and the sand was scorching. The water wasn't too cold though, so my family and I spent some time in the ocean. My sister and cousin were all the way in the deep end getting hit by waves, but I stood with the rest of my family near the shore to let the water run by our feet.

Also, my oldest sister packed these cookies & creme Drizzzlicious rice cake bites, and they tasted soooo good. They had the same taste as Oreo cookies, which is what I like in cookies and creme flavored things.

Applebee's dinner

Around half past five, our family called it a day and we all started the drive back to our homes. My sisters wanted to go to Applebee's for dinner, since we kind of thought my mom and her boyfriend would expect my oldest to take us out for dinner, so that's what we did.

It was FREEZING in there, and the food took a while to come. My sister ordered an appetizer and explicitly said that would be her entree to our waiter, but the food came as an appetizer first (she apologized after the rest of the food came out). We just waited until the rest of the food came to kind of be considerate, but ended up each having a piece of quesadilla anyway since it took so long.

I ordered their grilled chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and I didn't really eat much of the potatoes or chicken, since I think my shark week cramps were getting to me. The broccoli was definitely very steamed, and it felt like I was eating mashed broccoli from how much it was falling apart, lol.

Finally, my sisters ordered their pecan blondie, and we tore it up. I loved the sauce they used, but it kind of burnt our mouths since it was fresh off the skillet.

If I do plan on blogging throughout this week, then expect a bunch of formatted blog posts like this (and this). My cousin means BUSINESS when he plans stuff, but said business is very unplanned out and very wherever-the-wind-takes-us, lol.
