Saturday was unreal /pos + Sonic 3 movie review

Saturday was my older cousin's birthday, and we did a bunch of stuff for it. I'm surprised all of this happened in under 24 hours, so let me run by what my sisters, cousins and I (dubbed "The Cool Kids") did that day.

10 AM - Indoor gun range

My older cousin served in the military for 10 years, and ever since, he's wanted the other Cool Kids to try shooting a gun, too. The instructor we had was super friendly and patient with us! It was kinda fun, but not so fun since the ear protection was piercing in my skull.

12 PM - Eating at a pizza joint

After the gun range, we went to get some lunch. My household hasn't actually took the time to eat inside a pizza restaurant in forever, so this was a very lovely experience. Not to mention, we were the only people inside for a while, so that was a fun time to be ourselves.

2 PM - Dave and Buster's

We ended up getting around 1,300 tickets to spend, so I got this mood ring and my older cousin got candy. Nobody wanted anything else (bummer), so we just left it at that. There was also these three teens at the Dance Dance Revolution game, and they played, like, three different times, which took forever. My older cousin and I got to get a turn, though. :-)

6 PM - Dinner and cake

Dinner was soo good! My mom and grandma made pernil and some rice with beans, which is always delicious. My older cousin picked out a cookie cake for his birthday, and that hit the spot; I haven't had cookie cake in so long.

9 PM - To the movies (Sonic 3 Review)

We watched Sonic 3, and I loved the movie. It was funny at parts, sweet at others. I loved the grandfather-grandson bonding scenes, they were hilarious. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was its kind-of awkward pacing. I'm not sure how to explain it, since I'm no certified movie critic, but the storytelling felt off at moments. I wonder what's going to happen in the next movie, since the Robotniks are both for sure dead and Amy's here now. (??) Semi-spoiler: Dr. Eggman came to make an important announcement...
